College Ministry
We aim to be a wildly inclusive and supportive community for all people and strive to build community with our neighbors across the street. College students are welcome to participate fully in our intergenerational worship and adult bible study class. We also proudly support Labyrinth Progressive Student Ministry which meets every Sunday evening in our chapel for worship, as well as throughout the week for meals, bible studies, and happy hours!
Sunday Worship
Students are invited to participate in our intergenerational worship every Sunday morning at 11:00 AM in our historic sanctuary. You can expect a full liturgy (by Baptist standards), organ music with a choir, and pastors in robes.
Labyrinth meets every Sunday evening at 6:00 PM in our chapel during the school year to make music, meaning, and connections in their sacred space. Everyone is welcome, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.
Bible Study
Our Young Adult Bible Study (YABS) meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM at Medici Coffee Roasters on Guadalupe, just next door to the church! We’ll provide the coffee to help wake you up, and you can meet other young adults at UBC and have meaningful discussions before worship.
Labyrinth hosts a Student Bible Study on Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM in the Labyrinth Lounge at University Christian Church. They take the Bible seriously, not literally. The Bible is a beautiful library of stories, songs, poems, laws, letters, wisdom, truth… and a lot of weird stuff. This semester, they’re looking at ways to read the bible and what to do with the harsh verses. Come on Thursday nights for a crash course in how to read the bible.
Meals for Students
Every Wednesday we host a Campus Community Dinner at 6:00 PM in our Fellowship Hall. Come enjoy a free, home cooked meal and space to gather, connect, and organize! Student and community led programming is welcome and encouraged.
On Tuesdays you can meet in the Labyrinth Lounge from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM for a lunch buffet!
