Donating to the Migrant Support Fund
If you would like to help support this fund, you can give online:
1. Go to UBCAustin.org/giving
2. Click “Donate”
3. Indicate amount of gift, and click “Donate with Debit or Credit Card”
4. Just below the donation amount, click “+ add special instructions for the church”
5. Type “Campus Community Migrant Support”
6. Fill in your payment info, and click “donate now”
You can also give by mailing a check with "Migrant Support Fund" in the memo line to (insert our mailing address here - not sure if the Guad one or the San Antonio one works better for snail mail).
UBC has a long history of spiritual and material support for immigrants, refugees, international students,
and other migrants. Our faith leads us to welcome all people with love and compassion,
and Christian scripture insists on care and hospitality for migrants.
The Campus Community Migrant Support Fund will provide legal and emergency resources and services
for migrant UT students and workers, their families, and the campus community as they face uncertainty
in the wake of changes to student visas and immigration policy. A special committee made up of 2-3 church members
and 2-3 campus community partners (who are impacted and/or working closely with impacted people)
will oversee distribution of funds.
